I'd like to meniton again that this is not a happy comic. Although I'd like to think it has a happy ending. Anyway this is the first page of my dark Zutara comic "Black Moon Rising." My scanner totally killed this by the way. It looks way more shaded and cooler in real life I swear. T.T But as for the plot the next couple pages are flashbacks to Azula striking Aang with lightning and him actually dying because Katara is captured like Iroh. This is the story of her imprisonment. Any one who's a fan of Blutara is going to love about a couple dozen pages in! ^.-

I ship crack pairings because I don't have to deal with the fail of canon relationships, especially when they turn out to be shit romance subplots :smoking:

As for Scanner issues, yeah, those things tend to NOM on things a lot. Do you have anything like Photoshop? Cause you can play around with the contrast and such in attempts to save colors/shadings sometimes. :D

No no there will be a happy ending. At first there wasn't going to be really. But then a friend at school reminded me of something very important to this story line and there will in fact be a happy ending. XD

Yah I have opencanvas and I tried to mess around with it in there but it didn't do much good. *sigh* Oh well the next few pages aren't so dark (as far as shading goes) so they shouldn't be too much of a hassle (shouldn't being the operative word here). Yesssss the world needs more Bluetara. :XD:

Ah, this would be teh comic!

It's quite good for just pencils, but Katara in the second panel...something about her form makes me uneasy. But, the overall mood is great, and I'm looking forward to more!

Awww thank you so much! I'm glad you got an uneasy feeling from it because that's what I'm going for, Zuko feels uneasy looking at her like that. He's haunted by her eyes. I like working with pencils and blending sticks surprisingly, seeing as how all summer I've just been strictly CG art. :D
